Right of withdrawal
As a consumer within the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you received your order, without giving any reason.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal
You must inform us of your decision to withdraw before the 14-day period expires. You can do this through any of the following channels:
1. Digital withdrawal function
Use the dedicated withdrawal form on our website at gymathlete.se/right-of-withdrawal. You'll be asked to provide your name and order reference. You'll receive an automatic confirmation by email once your request has been registered.
2. Written notice
Send a clear written statement of your decision to withdraw by email to support@gymathlete.se. You may use our standard withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.
Returning the goods
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must send the goods back to us within 14 days. To make this simple, we provide a dedicated returns portal:
- Visit our returns platform here to register your return.
- Fill in the form with your order details — order number and the email address used for your purchase.
- Once registered, you'll receive a confirmation email with a QR code or a return label, depending on your location.
- Pack the item(s) securely, ensuring all conditions are met, and attach the return label.
- Send the package back to us.
You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Refunds
Once our warehouse has received and inspected your returned items, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery, without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
Refunds are credited to the original payment method and may take up to 14 days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earliest.
You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply, in accordance with Chapter 2, Section 11 of the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act, to:
- Sealed goods not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, where the seal has been broken after delivery. This applies in particular to underwear, water bottles, unsealed socks without tags, and accessories of an intimate or hygienic nature.
- Gift cards that have been wholly or partially used.
- Goods that have been customized or made to your specifications.
Distinction from our return policy
The statutory right of withdrawal described above is a legal right under EU and Swedish law. It exists independently of, and in addition to, our voluntary 30-day return policy. Where the two overlap, the provisions most favorable to the customer shall apply.
